WSOP November Nine
The World Series of Poker main event started with 6,865 players
and is down to the final nine. The “November Nine” as
they are called will play from November 5-7 with the winner taking
home about $8.7 million dollars.
Here is a look at the players in the November Nine.
Martin Staszko – 40.1 Million in Chips – He has been
a professional poker player for about a year. He is the first player
from the Czech Republic to ever make the November Nine.
Eoghan O’Dea – 33.9 Million – He is a professional
poker player who has actually won a big tourney in the past. His
dad is a pro player who has cashed six times in the main event.
Matt Giannetti – 24.7 Million – He is a 26-year old
professional poker player who lives in Las Vegas.
Phil Collins – 23.8 Million – He is known more for
his online poker player than his live play but he is going to have
a huge cheering section in November.
Ben Lamb – 20.8 Million – He is considered the best
poker player in the November Nine. He has already won a bracelet
this year and made two other final tables.
Badih Bounahra – 19.7 million – He is the oldest player
at the final table at 49-years old and an amateur. He is also the
first player from Belize to make the final table.
Pius Heinz – 16.4 million – He is just 22 years old
and is the first German player to make the November Nine.
Anton Makiievskyi – 13.8 million – He is the youngest
player at the table at 21 years old. Ukrainian players have been
great in this year’s WSOP with four bracelet wins.
Sam Holden – 12.3 million – The 22-year old from England
turned a short stack into a final table appearance.
