2014 WSOP Schedule Includes $1 Million Dollar
The 45th annual World Series of Poker gets underway in late May
and includes the $1 Million Dollar Buy-In tournament that is known
as the Big One for One Drop. The event was first held in 2012 and
poker pro Antonio Esfandiari won the $18 million dollar first place
prize. The tournament was not held in 2013 but it returns in 2014
with the $1 Million dollar buy-in.
The 2014 World Series of Poker schedule includes a number of exciting
events including the Main Event which is considered the most important
poker tournament of the year.
The 2014 WSOP schedule begins on May 27th with a new $25,000 Mixed
Max No-Limit Holdem tournament. This will be a high roller event
that appeals to poker pros as the first day will be nine-handed,
the second day six-handed, the third day four-handed and heads-up
matches on the final day. There are a total of 16 high roller events
on the schedule with 13 buy-ins of $10,000, the $25,000 event just
mentioned, the $50,000 Poker Players Championship and the previously
mentioned Million dollar Big One for One Drop.
There will be a total of 65 gold bracelets up for grabs at the
2014 World Series of Poker. The Main Event will begin on July 5th
and the November Nine will be determined on July 14th. The November
Nine will come back and a champion will be determined with action
on November 10th and 11th.
